At Bucket List Prints, we’re often asked whether our posters are created using AI. The answer is simple: they’re not.

Since we started in 2018, long before AI-generated art became widespread, every design we’ve produced has been created by real artists. We don’t use AI image generators or shortcuts. Instead, each poster is carefully researched, thoughtfully designed, and illustrated from scratch by one of our professional illustrators.

Our process starts with understanding the place itself. We look at what makes it recognisable, what gives it character, and why people love it. From there, our artists develop an original composition, often beginning with a pencil sketch. They then make considered decisions around colour, layout, and detail to create something that feels accurate, original, and distinctive, sometimes with a light touch of artistic licence.

This human-led approach is what gives our posters their personality. It’s not about producing artwork quickly, it’s about producing artwork properly.
